Hanover Hannover, Germany, is a city many glance over and dont think much of. Its not the busiest city in Germany and definitely does not get the crowds of tourists that cities like Frankfurt and Hamburg, however, Hannover holds its own quite well when you take into consideration the amount of wonderful attractions and the lush scenery that it provides for travelers in relation to the busy, bustling commerce centers of Germany. In Hannover, you will find upscale boutiques, and seemingly rundown restaurants and pubs full of live and amiable locals. You can visit the stands at the weekly flea market set up every Saturday along the River Leine. Hannover always has a spectacular festival going on, and if its low season, there are plenty of museums to spend your waking hours in.

Rainfall is quite average, with spring bringing less than the rest of the year, though you will have a hard time telling the difference.
